Hi there!
My name is Misha.
I am a Canadian who lives in Japan, a teacher/editor, and an occasional writer with an ever-churning mix of interests, hobbies and hyper-fixations. While I’ve taken cracks at starting projects based on those hobbies and interests in the past, they’ve always had a tendency to fizzle out. My curiosity about a designated topic fades, or worse, the pressure to keep it up takes the fun out of the process.
So I thought I’d go for a slightly different approach, where such consistency and restraint don’t really matter, and enjoyment of the writing process is the only thing holding everything together.
Which is where this blog comes in.
I’m not sure what exactly this site will become. But I do hope that it will eventually grow into a mish-mash record of the things I’ve created over time, be it a week or a year between posts. Whether it’s fiction, journals, essays, lists, photo-dumps, reviews, or anything else that I could possibly think of, I’d like to collect them all here.
And so without any sort of pressure, expectation or limitation, let the adventure begin!
